Covering Financial Inclusion

Covering Financial Inclusion

In continuation to its efforts of imparting practical knowledge of economy and finance to journalists, State Bank of Pakistan is conducting a series of six workshops for economic journalists in 2018. These workshops are contributing towards developing understanding of fundamental economic ideas of journalists and enable them to produce stories of a global standard. So far, three workshops have been held on different topics.

Now the fourth workshop "Covering Financial Inclusion" will be held on October 16, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at IBA, Aman Tower, City Campus, Garden East, Karachi. News organizations may nominate a member of staff to attend.

Reporters and sub-editors may also apply themselves. Reporters across all media—print, electronic and online—are welcome to apply online. Freelancers, bloggers, media students and new entrants to journalism can also apply. These workshops are free to attend. If journalists from cities other than Karachi wish to attend, they may so but will need to bear their own travel & lodging costs.
